About
Mission Statement:
The mission of JFairWStudios is to foster curiosity through continual learning, creating, teaching, and inspiring.
JFairWStudios:

JFairWStudios is a creative studio environment dedicated to artistic creation, hands‑on learning, and community connection. It serves as the home base for artist and instructor Jessica Fairweather — a place where she shares her mosaic art, offers workshops and studio hours, and invites people to explore creativity in a supportive, welcoming environment.
Rooted in curiosity and process, JFairWStudios blends artistic practice with teaching, providing space for people to learn new skills, experiment freely, and experience the joy of making something with their own hands. The studio reflects Jessica’s mission to learn, create, teach, and inspire, and is built on values of authenticity, transparency, and care.
Jessica Fairweather:

"I want to see what happens when I continue learning, creating, teaching, and inspiring."
Jessica Fairweather is a glass mosaic artist and instructor whose work is shaped by curiosity, colour, and a deep appreciation for the creative process. She is known for her thoughtful use of shimmering glass, bold contrasts, and intricate detail, creating mosaics that reflect both technical skill and an intuitive, exploratory approach.
As an educator, Jessica is dedicated to fostering supportive, hands‑on learning environments where people feel comfortable trying new techniques, asking questions, and developing confidence through making. Her teaching practice emphasizes clarity, encouragement, and the belief that creativity grows when people are given space to experiment without pressure.
Jessica teaches throughout the Fraser Valley and Lower Mainland, partnering with community centres, arts organizations, and educational programs. Her work has been exhibited in galleries and public spaces, and she continues to expand her practice through commissions, workshops, and her newest offering — Mosaic Studio Hours at Mystic Valley Studio.
She lives in Chilliwack, BC, with artist Jim Godfrey and their four children — Ian, William, Blythe, and Gabriel.
